All Saints Church, Monkwearmouth
A John Dobson Church provided to meet the growth of Industrial Wearside, All Saints Church, Monkwearmouth, needed substantial re-slating to the Nave and Porch roof as well as the two Vestries. The polluted atmosphere of the 19th and 20th Centuries had damaged the apex crosses. These were replaced with new sandstone crosses in St Cuthbert form.
