Affordable Housing, Allendale

An interlinked development of two flats and a house on a sloping wooded site on the outskirts of a picturesque town within the North Pennines. Recognising the need for affordable housing within rural communities, the project has been initiated by a newly formed Community Land Trust who, together with help from volunteers, the local authority and their chosen Housing Association, are working to help address this demand. We are assisting them in meeting the challenges of building affordably on a topographically difficult site with restricted access, yet to a quality befitting this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
